Zen vision M. it is the easiest one to use. it also supports a wide variety of music/video/picture format. it comes with its own software and you can just drag and drop your files. for ipods, it takes forever to put a regular movie since you have to use itunes every time. for the Zen, it only takes less than a minute or two. plus, the Vision M comes with its own video/picture converter to make a lot of files play on the player. the high definition screen has better picture quality than the ipod. the battery last longer. has fm radio, voice/fm recording, etc. it also gets firmware updates that makes it better. in case you deleted or don't have a software disc with you, the softwares and updates are always available on the Creative site. you can also have album arts and set your own wallpaper. the Zencast makes podcast downloading a lot easier and it has auto sync. if you already have Media Player 10 or 11, you can just use Media player to transfer your music.

iPod's and Creative Zen's are the best, you can do more with iPod's with a battery that lasts up to 24 hours, but the battery decreases when you do something else like playing a game. I would go with an iPod though because they're easy to figure out. Creative Zen's aren't bad but they're a bit odd to work, very close to the iPod but again, a but more difficult

sony has 30hrs with music...8 with video...and pictures and it's good....i had a sony with 50 hour battery life..didnt charge it for like a week and a half.....also they have the best sound quality

iPod will have you spending money for ages to come.....and if you drop them...a lot of the times they will mess up..a lot...so yeh...iPod is kind of risky..and ipod video has like 2 hours of battery life when watching videos... no lie
