MP3 player help!! fast?

i have a sandisk refurb mp3 player and im trying to put music into it. my mp3 says its connected and ready to transfer music in it but on the computer software that i have says no mp3 player is found to transfer music in it?? so what am i doing wrong or whats the problem

youn should probally try like unplugging and re-plugging it in, if that doesnt work, go to my computer and see if you see your devise on one the the icons.

if none of that works, make sure ur devise is on when u plug it in, and make sure the cord, or jack your pluging it in to isnt faulty.

What program are you using to sync music to your MP3 player? It's probably compatibility. If not, you may need to manually move (copy) music to the sandisk. What OS are you using? Need more info to be any help.
If your mp3 came with any software u might want to try reloading it. Or I hate to this it might need to be taken/sent back because the problem could have perexisted.
