Sansa mp3 player 6 gb?

well i have a sansa mp3 and i was uploading songs on it then when i was done i disconnected and the mp3 player says that its Refreshing Database well its been doing that for a long time now and it wont go to the mp3 menu all that stuff so i think that it ****** up somewhere so is their a way i can reset this mp3 player because i couldn't find a reset button. Please and thank you

Hold down the power button for 15 seconds to do the manual reset on it, that is if you have E-200 series, if I remember right that was the only one that goes up 6 and 8 GB sizes. But here is also the manual if you lost yours.
